Good morning and hello Tuesday! 

With all of the winter weather happening this weekend seemed to just fly by. I’m  very thankful that things aren’t more severe here but Louisville is just not somewhere that is prepared for snowfall. Thankfully Trevor and I have been able to share our SUV because half the roads we use have never been cleaned. 

I’m also thinking of everyone in Texas as I’ve followed the crisis through the news and a few friends on Instagram sharing the situation in real time. I had shared this article on Stories in case you are looking for ways to help! 

As for today’s post, this was a repeated reader request 😉 I actually love that you all send me the meme’s comparing what you think you look like in sweatsuits and what reality may be. First off, I’m good looking like either in a sweatsuit, ha. They are one of the best things to happen to me this past year!

I’ll share a few ways to style one below and always recommend opting for a more fitted set if you are wanting to wear it out and about. I have a few oversized sets that I tend to wear around the house but opt for a tighter fit with these! I will also round up some of my favorite sets below in case you are on the hunt.  

Tailored

Throwing on a tailored coat with your sweats always elevates it. It may not seem intuitive but there are no rules on when you have to wear your more formal coats. I love that this has more of a ‘dressed up’ feel but would be perfect for errands, brunch or a weekend date.

This is probably my most used combo! Casual and easy layers but keep them fitted and not bulky. This teddy coat is one of my favorite Amazon finds from last year and has been the ultimate layer this winter. Pull those sleeves up and layer those sleeves so it’s not overwhelming.

This is the most worn version currently 😉 Sweatpants are perfect to tuck into some slouchy socks and throw on your snow or rain boots. I recently bought these socks and have barely taken them off since. They come in a pack of 2 or 4 and are so cozy and perfect with sneakers or boots. This is the ‘Amazon Coat‘ and I wear it almost daily at this point! It runs oversized so stay TTS (I’m in a Green small) and can’t say enough good things about it.
