Sunshine, a gingham dress, and the West Loop are the perfect recipe for summertime perfection.  A few weeks ago I headed down to De Cero, one of my favorite Mexican spots in the West Loop to grab tacos and enjoy the day with Blair, Kelly, Emily and Jess! It was Blair’s 30th birthday and we were determined to enjoy the day work free. 

This dress was one I snagged a few seasons ago and always find myself coming back to. Luckily, it’s still available (and on sale!) and there are a ton of cute variations of it in dress and top versions! Gingham is one of my favorite summer prints and I love the different color variations. Of course, black is my favorite style because I think it still looks edgy and less preppy. 

Fun Statement Earrings:

After a delicious lunch at De Cero on the patio (make sure you order the salsa verde!) we headed over to Soho House to enjoy some pool time. Dangling my feet in the pool feel like magic and it was so lovely to relax and enjoy chatting with my girlfriends. It reminded me of why I love summer so much and to remember not stress about everything little thing.
