Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Do you guys have any fun plans? I am excited for a busy day around here. I have a fun shoot later this afternoon with Hannah and then Trevor and I are going to grab happy hour drinks and appetizers somewhere! My mom is here this week and we are really excited to sneak away and enjoy some drinks! We are thinking The Violet Hour but if you have any suggestions in Wicker Park, let me know!

Since I had shared one of my main goals this year was to actually get dressed everyday in this post, I thought I should follow up and let you know it’s actually been going well. Now, I don’t make it happen everyday and am still in my leggings at 5pm but this outfit is happening more often than not.

After cleaning out my closet, I decided to really organize my basics and focus on pieces that I can switch in and out for a comfy everyday look. One of the new pieces I invested in was this camel shawl cardigan. It’s the perfect length, color and texture for fall and winter and I love the draped touch in the front.

I’ve been pairing it with lace tanks, striped tee’s, turtlenecks and plain tee’s making it so versatile. This outfit and my loafers (either these or these) are what you can usually catch me in unless it’s insanely freezing out and I am snuggled in my snow boots

Hope you guys all have a quick work day and enjoy whatever plans you may have tonight!
