With a new season approaching, it’s always fun to try some new beauty trends. I have picked up quite a few new beauty products since the last time we chatted and thought I would share some of them along with the fun new ways I’m using them!
When it comes to makeup, I am no connoisseur. I do a lot of research and like to keep things natural so I find myself taking runway trends and toning them down for my everyday life. I honestly think bold makeup looks beautiful, I’m just not used to it so when it’s applied for me I feel crazy ha, anyone else?
A Bold Eye: True story, I have been trying to achieve a cat eye for years. The last time I attempted, I later developed a stye! I figured it was the universe telling me the look wasn’t for me. Luckily, I have been experimenting with the new popular ‘bold eye’ and am loving it. I have been using a liquid eyeliner for this and it stays on all day. I think you can be as ‘bold’ as you like and for me that is usually something pretty subtle.
A Lip That Pops: Bold lip colors are always in season for some people but I am more of a neutral girl myself. I talk more about this in tomorrow’s blog post but I love stepping up the colors in the colder months. This new lip color has been a recent favorite!
Peach Tones: Peach colors were all over the runway this year and I have been trying to add a little more of the color to my beauty routine. This peach blush has been doubling as an eyeshadow for me and I love the natural effect.
