Man, last week was a doozy. We all ended up coming down with some kind of sickness, poor Zain had a double ear infection and I just simply couldn’t get caught up on life. I wish I had been the kind of sick where you can lay in bed and enjoy a movie and work on my computer but I was more the kind of sick where you can’t move.
Thankfully we all starting feeling better this weekend and since Trevor was on call I attempted to work Saturday night after Zain went to sleep! I realized after getting sick that I needed to keep hand sanitizer more readily available in our home (I had hid them all because Zain is obsessed with the bottles and will just yell for them), start taking a vitamin again (any recommendations?) and boost my immune system as much as I can.
Between working in kid’s mouths, smothering my son who is in school half the week and just being me I feel like I’m getting sick ALL the time and I hate it. Any advice on what has worked for toddler mom’s please share!
As far as today’s post I thought I would chat about this outfit which is one of my favorites! I honestly searched far and wide for a plaid skirt that worked for me. I love mini skirts but so many of them are stick straight and that is not comfortable or cute on my frame. This one was the perfect neutral plaid, not itchy and was forgiving in all the right places.
I snagged this skirt on Shopbop and I know you all have heard me talk about how much I love that site over and over again. Well, exciting news!!! They just launched an Amazon shop page! I think this is so great since so many of you already use and love Amazon. You can see all the products, reviews and check out with your diapers or whatever else you order on there!
Okay, back to the mini. Whenever I wear a mini I always make sure to coverup on the top and usually pair with an OTK boot. I think they can sometimes get scandalous real quick and this is also the perfect way to make it more casual than formal.
What do you guys think?
