Happy Wednesday friends!

After a glorious weekend and week of fall weather I am reminded how much I enjoy seasons. After living in Chicago for so long with mostly two seasons it feels nice to enjoy fall for more than a week 😉 I am actually headed out of town on a work trip tomorrow through Saturday and then meeting Trevor in Florida for a friend’s wedding. I’m already a little bit anxious about leaving Zain for that long.

We did get to sneak away for dinner together this week and it was so lovely. With Trevor’s call schedule, Zain’s school and my work it can sometimes feel like we don’t set aside time alone as much as we should, so we were both excited about it.

Is it just me or do you have a ‘lazy date night outfit’ you know looks chic but is comfy enough to hang out in all night. This is it for me! A good boyfriend jean so you can relax, a silk cami and boyfriend blazer always do the trick. This blazer is a few years old but I linked a couple above that have the same cut and style which I think is the most important. This blazer is tailored but longer in length which I think makes it a little more flattering and casual than a traditional style.

I also recently purchased these brown suede pumps and am in love and trying to wear them with everything. I think the rich chocolate color is so beautiful and like all of my Sam Edelman shoes, very comfortable.

Hope you are all having a wonderful start to your week!
