Hey guys, happy hump day! I am now dreaming of this Sunday Funday we had last week while looking at these pictures and longing for the weekend already. I thought it might be helpful to share a few ways you could start transitioning your wardrobe to spring on the blog today since we’re not quite there (sorry about the snow you east coasters out there) but everyone is tired of boots, sweaters and scarves.

Luckily last weekend it really warmed up in Chicago and despite the forecast calling for 60’s I still didn’t truly believe it and had to wear my light sweater. I actually love this sweater and don’t think it’s available in this shade anymore but it’s the perfect lightweight piece to keep you warm but not make you feel like you’re wearing a chunky knit.

I also think you can refresh your denim choices! Raw hems are my new favorite and even in a dark wash look un and fresh for spring and summer. I linked a few pairs above but there are some at every price point and you can wear them well into this season!

My last tip is neutral colored sneakers! I LOVE lighter colored sneakers and these cream shades are to die for. There are so many options and they add such a cool fresh feel to your look.

My last piece of advice is to invest in an anorak if you don’t already own one. It’s probably my most worn coat during the spring and summer months and this Levi’s one has been with me for years and they bring it back every year, probably because it’s amazing. It fits TTS and I can’t recommend it enough!

Now, on to the fun stuff! Last weekend we met up with Jess and Neal and grabbed lunch and watched basketball with Zain at Chop Shop. I actually hadn’t been there in so long despite how close it is to us and loved the atmosphere. It was great for Zain because there was plenty of space and the food was delicious. After lunch we hopped over to the Tapster, another spot we had been wanting to try! It was also a great place for Zain in case you all with children are looking and and was so fun. I wish we could have explored more because it seemed to have several fun rooms and the concept was really cool. You get a card and use it to choose drinks by the ounces form different taps. That way you can try as much or as little as you want and control the amount you pour in your glass. It’s literally genius for me because I can never finish a beer.

Have you guys been?
