another snowy weekend here in chicago which makes for pretty pictures and cold shaheen.

• i wanted to capture another holiday look that could go from office to evening. skirts with flats and in this case moccasins with grommets are right up my alley but this look could easily be dressed up with a pair or stilettos or pumps for a night out.

• layering is key to staying warm and because i’m not a huge fan of tights with pumps if i did add patterned tights i would probably chose a heeled boot. this skirt is so adorable: it flares out at the bottom and has a drop waist giving your curves some shape. the color is beautiful and great for the holiday season, and it’s now on sale!

• i paired this with sneaks & leather just to give it some edge but if you tend to like more traditional pieces you could always pair it with a blazer. in case you noticed my beautiful necklace wasn’t linked above don’t fret: come back by the blog tomorrow because i will be featuring the designer, i’m in love with her whole line and know you will be too!

• to finish it off i carried my classic chanel bag i usually wear crossbody or on the long chain and a dark lip. i think this look would be great with an even darker hue on the lip but i’m still on the hunt for the perfect shade 😉
