I’m sure we would all love to have the time and resources to stop by the beauty salon each morning before we get ready for our day and have our hair done. Sadly, that’s definitely not in my morning routine.

Even before having Zain, my mornings were always a bit of a rush. Since he’s come along it’s only gotten tighter on time. Getting a shower at all has become somewhat of a challenge and I definitely don’t find myself with a lot of time to fix my hair after. If I’m being honest, I’ve never enjoyed fixing my hair. Most days I let my hair air dry and either like how that turns out or just throw it up in a bun. On a rare occasion, I will straighten my hair but those days are few and far between.

When I saw Living Proof was releasing a new styling product that can be used in multiple ways, I was ecstatic. (I currently use their shampoo and conditioner and love how much texture they give my hair) This new T.B.D Multi-Tasking Styler can be used on wet or dry hair (lifesaver!) and can smooth everything out or help you create that piece-y deconstructed look. It’s so nice that I only need this one product to achieve any of these styles since less is always more around here.

No one has time to prep their hair with millions of products and since mine is on the thin side, I hate to ever add too much to it. So many products can easily build-up and weigh my hair down leaving it feeling greasy and flat. I was so happy with the results I achieved with T.B.D Multi-Tasking Styler and it’s made getting ready in the morning that much simpler.

My favorite way to use the T.B.D Multi-Tasking Styler is to help shape my deconstructed waves. I usually apply the product after air-drying, when my hair is mostly set. I would recommend gently pressing the water out of your hair with a towel after you get out of the shower and using the product shortly after it dries. I then run my fingers through my hair to piece it out and lift and scrunch all the segments. I have a natural wave to my hair but it tends to get frizzy as it dries, making it hard for me to wear. The T.B.D Multi-Tasking Styler spreads so well through my waves and I then use what’s left on my hands to smooth out any flyaways I have at the top of my head.

If you prefer a sleeker look, apply the product on your damp hair while you run your fingers through to smooth everything out. It will instantly help you create a more sleeker look! If you’re really short on time (like I usually am) you can also use it to just tame what you wake up with. Apply it on your damp hair to soften your natural hair shape and you’re good to go!

If a natural wave isn’t in your repertoire you can always try out Living Proof’s other new product, Blowout. You can use it on your damp hair before you blow it out to help lock in the style and provide heat protection up to 450 degrees!

Living Proof’s T.B.D Multi-Tasking Styler has honestly made my ‘getting ready’ routine that much easier and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Have you guys tried it?

  1. Great tips! I’m so not a morning person, and I’m curious how things will be with a baby! It looks like you’ve found a great product for your hair. Cute earrings too, Shaheen!
