To Lob Or Not To Lob?

Feb 16, 2016

To lob or not to lob my friends? That is the question. I will admit I am not a girl who get’s regular haircuts. I know I should and mean to but it just never seems to fit into my plan. I also for whatever reason feel like ‘trims’ are just a waste even though I know that’s not true. As a result, every time I actually to get into the salon I end up being dramatic about it – color or big cut.

Now that my hair is getting entirely too long I am about to make a drastic move again but want to get some advice. I can’t decide to do another ‘lob‘ cut and keep it a little longer than my shoulders or really go all out for the bob. I have a wee bit of color left on my ends and can’t decide if I should add in more or let it fade out. My hair is so thin that it’s gets too stringy if left long so I have to do something soon.

I would also love to hear your must have beauty products for short hair. I like to wear mine wavy but don’t kill me when I tell you I just let my hair air dry and those waves usually appear. I really need some products that will keep the waves strong all day and add some texture so I’m think some sea salt texturizing spray but need to know the best brands!

I still need to make an appointment but once I decide what I want I hope I can get it chopped before my trip in March! PS all this inspo came from my late night Pinterest browsing (what else do you do when you’re bored?!) Are we friends on there yet? It’s lot of style, home decor & recipe inspiration! Have a wonderful day and cheers to almost being half way through the week!

I say go for it! I’m going to be cliche and say that if you don’t dig it…it will grow back. Cutting my hair completely changed my face and I love how easy the shorter ‘do is! I live for Living Proof’s Dry Shampoo and Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray. My sister actually does my hair and she uses the R+CO Rockaway Salt Spray when I go to the salon. 🙂

Go for it!! I’m with Jess on this one, if you don’t like it… it grows back! And I love the feeling or short chopped hair! I’ve been using Aquage Sea Salt Spray, I love it!!

  3. Well, obviously you know my thoughts on this subject — DO IT!

Shorter hair is actually more maintenance, so if you’re willing to do that then I say do the bob!! I think it’d look awesome on you.

Do it! I just freshly chopped my hair and the blunt cut lob is so versatile. It looks good straight or I use an iron to give it some wave.
