SHOP THE POST:
Despite everyone’s anticipation fall just doesn’t seem to be arriving yet. I am not going to lie, the last few weekends have made me thankful summer is sticking around. Spending time at the beach, cooking out with family and just sitting on our porch enjoying a Moscow mule have been lovely.
Since the weather is not fully there yet I have been finding ways to make some of my new fall pieces work for now. This long green cardigan was one of my favorite finds from the Nordstrom sale. Last season I snagged a grey one from Shopbop and found myself wearing it far too often. When I spotted this olive shade I had to have it. I loved how lightweight it was and easy to layer over tees and jeans. I paired it with a classic black skinny jean and these lace up heels. They’re a great choice for a closed toe heel and go with pretty much everything.
My burgundy Welden bag really added the pop of color my look needed and combined all the fall hues I love. I can’t get enough jewel tones for the new season and think they work beautifully together. If you haven’t heard of Welden Bags before they just recently started selling them in larger retail stores and I love them. You have seen them in my posts before and love the cross stitching pattern. Although they are a bit of an investment I think they really hold up well and anything cross body is a win in my book!
What pieces have you guys been starting to incorporate? I know I’m excited about the chunky sweaters now but feel free to remind me of this when I am crying about the snow and wind cutting my face in a few months…
