I’m not sure why this is the first trench coat I’ve owned, but I won’t be going back. After snagging this one recently I’ve already bought another one in a classic tan. It’s the perfect coat for this beautiful fall weather. I’m not ready to bust out my winter puffy coat, but do need something to throw over my sweaters, especially when we go out in the evenings. 

This one is a fun twist on the classic and comes in a faux suede! I’ve been pairing it with everything from tanks to chunky knits and it’s currently on sale. For lunch last weekend I decided to keep it casual and throw on a striped sweater, jeans and a classic pair of flats. I’m happy the weather is allowing me to keep these lace up flats in rotation that I now own in black and tan! The weather here has been so beautiful and I hope it sticks around for a while. Chicago winter’s tend to sneak up on us and I am just hoping it holds off for as long as possible.

We decided to head to Jane’s for a quiet lunch. If you haven’t been before, it’s adorable! It’s right in the middle of Bucktown and has the most amazing food. It feels like a tiny cottage and the staff is alway so lovely. After lunch we did some house shopping and will hopefully have some fun updates for you soon!
