Dinner our first night in LA was perfect thanks to my good friend Supra. Her husband lived in LA for some time and she sent me the best list of recommendations I knew I could trust since she’s a foodie. The one restaurant she mentioned downtown happened to only be a few blocks from our place so it worked out perfectly. We were a bit jet lagged so not getting back in the car was perfect. We walked down to Bäco Mercat and grabbed a tiny table for 2 towards the back. The wine was absolutely delicious and it was tapas style so we ordered everything from shishito peppers to pasta and had the best red wine. Each dish was yummier than the next and after a few hours of chatting and enjoying wine we walked back to our place and got some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while.

I wanted to throw on something super light and airy for dinner but since it was on the chillier side this long maxi was perfect with a cardigan. I love how the blue and brown pop off the white color and it’s such a steal! I will warn you that the white is see through so I wore a slip underneath it. If you have a nude or white one I definitely recommend it. I’m also 5’8 for reference and the length was perfect with a heel for me but I think I could get away with flats and it not be dragging on the ground. Definitely order true to size because there is plenty of room and you can always cinch it with the belt!

I know I’ve professed my love for these shoes before but if you haven’t found a good neutral pair for summer I highly suggest them. The short chunky heel is everything your feet ever dreamed of & I hope you guys have an awesome Monday!
