Morning friends and Happy Monday! 

We are all back to our normal routines today and honestly feels so good. I always laughed when people with children would talk about how hard it was when school’s were out and now I totally get it. Being out of your routine especially during the winter when it’s harder to get out can get tiresome and everyone starts to go a little stir crazy. It’s nice to be back in our groove and starting the new year fresh. 

I wanted to first off say thank you for all the thoughtful and considerate feedback from last Friday’s post. It feels so wonderful to connect with you guys and I am happy that you find value here. I am always open to suggestions so never hesitate to send an email my way!

As for today, I am chatting quick skincare tricks I’ve been using after the gym. Some of you have messaged me about how I sneak in a workout over lunch and I have somewhat perfected the quick shower and go. I have it down to about 10 minutes but keep in mind I also tie my wet hair up and don’t wear makeup usually so that cuts out time. 

I thought I would share some easy tricks that help me post workout whether I am going back to work or just running errands. My skin tends to get really dry during the winter and I am always obsessively moisturizing. I also noticed my skin starting to break out a little and I’m fairly certain it was because I was working out and then running errands on my days without Zain. I would be out for hours without washing my face and I think the sweat and dirt just built up. By the time I would make it to the grocery and other things on my list most of the day had gone by. 

So, I started packing a few things in my gym bag and doing a quick wash and moisturize session before I would leave the gym. Drugstore beauty products are essential to my life and I try to keep a good balance of them along with higher end beauty products. I’m all about balance and often times have found price tag’s don’t match effectiveness and I can always find what I need at Walgreens.

I know I’ve talked about the Simple Cleansing Cloths several times on the blog but I love keeping them everywhere. They are such an easy way to wipe off after a workout, long day or even refresh in the morning. I started alternating these with this St.Ives Acne Control Face Scrub after my workouts and then using this Pond’s Dry Skin Cream. It actually leaves my face feeling dewy instead of oily.
