5 Refreshing Smoothie Bowls

Apr 5, 2017

Happy hump day people! We are making it through another week of rain and I couldn’t be more excited to leave town this Sunday! I know I mentioned a few weeks back that we had a fun trip planned and we finally take off this Sunday to spend the week in Arizona with Visit Phoenix! We are over the moon to get away on a mini vacation before the baby comes and nothing sounds better than some sunshine and relaxation. I can’t wait to share all the fun we have planned so make sure to follow along on my Instagram and keep your eyes peeled for a fun travel guide coming to the blog soon!

In other news, I’m sharing a delicious recipe roundup on the blog today. I loved all your feedback on my green smoothie recipe last week and thought I would share a few other recipes I’ve been attempting at home. There sadly aren’t a ton of places to grab a smoothie bowl in our neighborhood, plus they are pretty pricey. So, I’ve been trying to create them on my own at home to save time and money and these 5 recipes have been my favorite.

I usually stock up on the ingredients over the weekend and try to prep them each morning. They are far less difficult to make then I had ever thought, so don’t be intimidated like I was! I also try to mix frozen and fresh fruit so I’m not worried about all my produce going bad if I don’t get to it!

Yum these look tasty! I like to prep fresh berries at the beginning of the week. I always wash them when I get home from the store, and for strawberries I always cut off the stems and cut them in advance.
