TGIF! i hope everyone had an amazing holiday & was able to be with loved ones! i was so thankful to make it to my in law’s for the weekend before christmas before making our way back to the city since trevor is working. despite missing trevor a ton it was great to spend quality time with my girlfriends and be able to stay the night at my sister in law’s with my nieces & nephew! nothing brings joy to my life like they do & being with them during the holidays is even more special.

i had great intentions to blog earlier this week but i didn’t find myself reaching for it and wanted to make sure i was staying off social media and being present with the people i care about. it’s all about balance and i enjoy this space and writing (even though i am not a writer!) and want it to be natural and come from a happy place.

i loved piecing this look together and it’s become one of my favorites! this sequin skirt will always be holiday appropriate and i have worn it every season since i bought it. to dress it down a bit i paired it with a chambray shirt and threw on my plaid jacket in case it got a bit chilly. this jacket is a few seasons old but this one is gorgeous and on sale for under $60!

i have been loving a half up bun lately but am getting my hair done sunday and seriously debating chopping it off again, help?! hope you all have an amazing weekend!
