My Post Pregnancy Spring Wishlist

Since I haven’t been doing a ton of shopping this late in my pregnancy, dreaming of new spring duds to wear post delivery has been keeping me occupied. Granted I’m sure my maternity yoga pants and nursing tanks will keep me happy for quite a while however it’s nice to do a little summer shopping and have something to look forward to!

I have been drawn to colorful and easy basics lately and anything open and airy! I’m already constantly hot and have heard that only gets worse post delivery, so slides and tanks sounds like heaven. I’ve been eyeing a few pieces at Nordstrom and Shopbop as usual, they are probably my two favorite retailers and lately Ann Taylor and Everlane have been making me swoon too!

It’s hard to believe May is already half way over and that the summer heat will be here before we know it. I’m so excited to be giving birth during a warm month and hope to get out of the house as much as I can. Even propping our doors open and having some coffee on our patio makes me feel like a new person. Not that we planned the timing of our pregnancy, since I was sure nothing would work but I’m so glad it worked out this way. I think giving birth during a Chicago winter would be difficult, so props to those mommas. I already feel trapped when the weather here is horrible and post delivery would be difficult.

Most of the pieces on my wish list or already hanging in my closet waiting for me are easy loose shift dresses, which I love for summer regardless and some classic slides and accessories. How cute are these suede ones? I love the simple design and want the black, nude and olive versions!

What are your favorite places to shop? I’m thinking of compiling a list of some of of my favorite shops and brands and what I usually buy from each, so let me know if you would be interested in that!

How dreamy is this denim dress? I love the oversize feel and the frayed hem detailing at the bottom!

The transport tote is my life and I love how they reinvented it this season. I have almost worn my grey version out so I decided to snag it in neutral too!

I love all these details! I ordered a size up in this top since it’s a little cropped and had a hard time deciding between the red and black.

I’m dying to get back into real jeans and these boyfriend jeans are at the top of my list. I think they look so effortless and relaxed.

I stalked these sandals for weeks till they came back in stock in my size. They run a little small so make sure to order a half size up!

Florals for spring? I know. I just couldn’t resist the color and the cute ties on the sleeves.

A classic silhouette for spring and summer and the color couldn’t be more beautiful!

As you know, I’ve been obsessed with tassel earrings and this gold pair can go with anything.

Ahhh! So cute, right? These come in a ton of different colors and I want them all.

High waisted denim shorts are goals for me. I love the button detailing and the price on these!
