holiday tea party

Guys, can we talk about how cute having a holiday tea party for your girlfriends is? I am always looking for new ways to host my girlfriends and this was the perfect afternoon party. Preparation is so easy and there is no fuss at all making it easier for you to hang with your friends and spend less time in the kitchen!

Bigelow Tea makes it so easy with their ready to serve single tea bags and the flavors are endless. My favorite for this season are Constant Comment, Salted Caramel & Pumpkin Spice. The flavors are so bold and crisp you won’t need any additions!

A few tips: Keep the decor simple like this festive white floral centerpiece that doesn’t overwhelm the table but feels fun. You can always order a bouquest or just grab whatever is in season at the store and arrange those. For the holidays I actually love just plain red berried! Make sure to use easy recipes that you can prepare ahead of time and even grab some desserts for people to enjoy if you like.

I made these cucumber pastries ahead of time and just chilled them in the fridge till my guests arrived. It’s so much easier to cook for big groups of people prior to their arrival so you can actually enjoy their company and not be cooking the whole time. Always make the table a little festive with fun tea cups and saucers and gold flatware. I also love using sugar cubes instead of traditional raw sugar and they taste delicious in tea!

I also wrote each guests name on their tea bag giving a little personal touch to the day. This is the perfect idea for a bigger group so you can host everyone before the holidays at once! Hope you guys are having a good week so far and let me know if you try this at home!
