Happy Monday y’all! I hope you guys all had a wonderful weekend and are getting back into the swing of things. Since I don’t head out to an ‘office’ every Monday morning anymore it has been a little harder for me to reset these days. I’ve recently set some goals for myself and they have helped me tremendously so I thought I would share.

Don’t Beat Yourself Up

A lot of time we overindulge on the weekends, stay up a little too late (I normally go to bed by 9pm haha) and skip workouts. So naturally when Monday rolls around, I’m still feeling sluggish, unmotivated and a little blah. I’ve realized I need to let the weekend go and stop overanalyzing what I did, what I ate and everything in between. Since I never want to be the type of person that limits myself 24/7 (what would life be like?) I’ve learned to let go and move on.

Workout

This seems intuitive but getting into a Monday, Wednesday, Friday workout routine has been amazing for me. I often wanted to ditch working out on Monday but when I get out of the house and get it done, I feel so much more motivated in general and am so much more productive with work.

Make Plans With A Friend

Said workout is much easier when I schedule it with a friend! I will try to sign up for Flywheel or Flybarre with my girlfriend Lauren and knowing I’m meeting someone else really gets me out of the house and feeling good post workout.

Reward Yourself

I try not to make a habit of grabbing smoothies since they cost $10 a pop but on Mondays I like to treat myself to a Real Good Juice Co smoothie. If you haven’t been, they are all amazing and the cold brew ‘Your Nutty Uncle’ is magical on Monday mornings.

On a completely separate fashion note, we have to talk about this outfit. You know I have been a longtime fan of overalls and am now so excited these pinafore dresses are coming out. I’m not only obsessed with short versions (so easy to throw on this spring and summer) but this long version has my heart. Since it’s sadly still a little chilly outside I paired it with a tissue turtleneck but in the summer it will be amazing with a tee or tank and tennis shoes

I also know I’ve talked briefly about this adorable bucket bag but you guys need it! It comes in a ton of colors and I love how small it is while still holding all my essentials and it has a cross body strap – SOLD.

How do you guys reset every week?
