Hey, hey, hey!
Is everyone recovered from yesterday? I will be honest, I’m not. I thought I would be able to sneak in a nap yesterday but by the time we got back from Cincinnati and I finished up work and emails, Zain woke up and then I had dinner with girlfriends from dental school.
I was really on the fence about whether I needed to go into the store yesterday but I’m really glad I did. Sizing on some of the pieces was really tricky and I found several things in store I hadn’t even noticed online.
I know a lot of you messaged me yesterday that Nordstrom was down but I think everything has been sorted out and if any of your favorites are sold out I would just keep checking back because I have surprisingly already seen things come back.
I thought it might be helpful to show you what I purchased yesterday and break down sizing and material details! I also created an Instagram highlight that I saved all my try on sessions to in case you want to see anything on and more up close. I also included some other dressing room shots below and more details at the bottom of the post.
Hope you guys had a helpful sale and remember this goes on forever and the public access usually has some great new stuff too!
This sold out so quick last year and I finally scooped it up! I could have worn a small or medium and the lace is actually really pretty in person.
Ahhh, the hidden gem! I hadn’t really paid much attention to this online but when I tried it on in store I fell in love. It’s under $25 and so flattering.
I normally have a hard time finding OTK boots that fit my legs (they are fairly thin) but these fit like a gem and are under $90. Bought them to wear with dresses and skirts this fall!
My FAV sweater of the sale! I had originally ordered a 6 in this but then when I went in store the 4 fit much better. I would say TTS if you like more fitted sweaters and size up one for a more roomy feel!
Snagged this yellow stripe combo because who doesn’t need more stripes and it was so affordable under $20.
I weirdly feel like I never have dressy tops to wear so I tried to make a point to pick a few this sale. I loved this patter and the sleeve detailing!
Such a good investment pair of jeans! The fray hem is so cute for fall but they do run small – I sized up one size!
I missed out on this last year and was so mad so I made sure to snag it right away. It literally feels like butter!
I was on the fence about this when I saw it online but when I tried it on in store I was sold. I love how it has and sweater coat feel and isn’t too heavy!
I have been hunting for a suede mini skirt for seasons and never wanted a black or tan color. Finally this grey came out and I was sold. It does run small so size up!
I didn’t think I would like this on at all but I loved it! Such cute detailing and not too preppy feeling.
These are a great classic boot with a bit of a twist. I liked the darker chestnut color and they ran TTS!
