i was so happy to be home in kentucky over memorial day weekend i had to snap some pics at my parents house. trevor & i were headed out to grab a cocktail and i was excited to finally pull out this white skirt. an amazing local boutique in bucktown was closing it doors so the owner could pursue other passions & i was sad to see it go but happy to hit that sale! i snagged the lace dress i wore here & picked up this white skirt. it’s a stretchy fabric that makes it so easy to wear but still breathable for the humid kentucky weather.

i decided to edge it up (as i love to think i do) with this distressed tee & lace up heels! these heels are starting to wear down so i’m soon going to be buying the ones i linked above just debating the black or nude color, what do you think? i love the loose fit and worn look of this tee because it’s casual but still unique enough to pair with fancier pieces.

such an easy outfit to throw together and we were out the door to meet friends! i’ll try to remember the weekend as i head into the office today…
