i can’t tell you how much i love this white vest.

after two long weeks of being on night float & several weeks of working every weekend i was ecstatic to spend a night with trevor! we decided to walk around the neighborhood & find a new place to eat (one of our favorite pastimes…the eating not walking)

i was excited to dress up a tiny bit for our long awaited date night and knew it was the perfect occasion to bust out this vest. it’s absolutely perfect for spring & summer and you can totally transition it to cooler weather will a long sleeve tee or sweater underneath. it’s so easy to throw on & dress up your look for dinner!

i decided to pair it with these floral shorts that are high waisted and easy to tuck a tee into. just throw on the vest and some wedges and it instantly takes you from day to night.

i recently stumbled upon these tassel necklaces and loved them so much i got both silver & gold. i love to wear them together but kept it simple this night since my outfit was saying so much! i’m usually not much of a fan for “statement” jewels and tend to be more attracted to more delicate pieces but i couldn’t resist these!

it ended up being a gorgeous night in the city & this look was perfect to roam around the city with trevor! hope you all had a fabulous weekend and stay tuned because i have some exciting (well, for me) life news & new additions coming to the blog!

ps this weekend i made a trip out to the Fashion Outlets of Chicago to do some light shopping & J.Crew Factory was irresistible. i picked up a few things including this top, tank, & shades for $15…don’t blame me the prices are way to good & let me know what you find!
