4 Ways To Style Wide Leg Crops

Mar 13, 2019

Happy Wednesday friends!

Today’s post is a fun one that makes my heart so happy! I have always had love for a wide leg crop pant and you will see I have been wearing them forever. I think the white pair pictured below from Loft has one of their old school tags because I’m pretty positive they are from college.

Also, I may be aging myself but do you guys remember gaucho pants?! Those were ALL the rage when I was a freshman in college and although that material needs to never be seen again I very much appreciate the sentiment still.

I get a lot of questions on how you should style and wear these, who they work for and different styles to try so I thought we would cover it all today. First up, these look good on everyone! Seriously. I’m including a couple of my favorite brands below and I think they are such a great staple piece that can work for the office or weekend.

The Madewell Emmett Crop

I snagged this pair right after I had Zain because I needed a size up from everything I owned and loved this color. I am still obsessed with them! I love how the flair on the Madewell pair is a bit more exaggerated and they just released a ton of new colors last week. They have also discounted a few colors so if they happen to have your size, grab it!

Since it was semi warm outside when this was photographed I paired it with a pair of nude heels and a tie front top. I was really into these tops post baby while I was breastfeeding because they were loose and had a button front however I still stand by them. If you wanted to dress this up a bit I would wear a sleek bodysuit with it. I think the fitted top would add some fire to it and would be perfect for dinner and drinks! Size down.

Like I said above, mine are super old but the fluid pant is their current comparable style and I have tried them on several times and love them. They come in a ton of fun patterns and colors and these are a great work staple. I pair mine with blouses, sweaters and button up oxford’s for fancier days at the office or meetings. I also think they look great with a low chunky heel and are great for after dinner drinks too! Run TTS.

The Tie Waist Culotte

These are a few years old from Leith and I don’t know why they haven’t brought them back! They sold out immediately when they were released because the style is so perfect! This pair was just released and it’s the  most similar I’ve seen at an affordable price point. The tie waist is so flattering and is easy to tuck a tank or tee into and still look put together! Runs TTS.

The Everlane Wide Leg Crop

My current go to when it comes to crop’s! I just ordered these in a new color because I love this pair so much. They stretch a little as you wear them but are easy to wash and have held up really well. I usually dress this white pair up with a cami and heels during the summer but am excited to do a light sweater and sneakers this spring. Run TTS.

Let me know if you guys have any other questions and I hope to love wide leg crops as much as me 🙂
