Happy Thursday guys! How is your week going?
I was excited to grab lunch with Blair yesterday after my morning workout. Ever since we had our sons you can imagine it’s been harder and harder for us to get together and catch up. Our babies are still on such different schedules and planning can be such a pain. Luckily, she now has a nanny a few days a week and my mom happens to be in town this week so we snuck away by ourselves and grabbed a bite and caught up just like the old days.
I’ve really been trying to limit my eating out during the week but we tried to choose a healthy spot and since I had just finished my insanely hard workout class, I felt a little less guilty about it. On that note, any new healthy spots you guys have dined at lately in Chicago? I feel like I always frequent the same three.
Other than that, this week has been great so far without too many other plans and my parents will be in town this weekend for my niece and nephew’s 5th birthday so it should be a lot of fun. I can’t believe how quickly those kids and have grown and I’m excited to take them out for lunch in the city! Hoping for sunshine this weekend so we can wander the neighborhood and pop in somewhere easy.
Since it’s Thursday (my odd meal planning day) I thought I would share another recipe roundup since I’ve been searching for new low carb recipes to add to our menu. I get tired of making and eating the same thing more than a few times so am constantly searching and saving new stuff to my Pinterest boards.
