Does anyone else feel like January lasted forever and February is flying by. I can’t believe it’s already the second week of the month and a very busy one for us. I am ecstatic because my 20 week ultrasound was Monday and Trevor is able to make it. We had to push it back because of work and I have been anxious since last week to get in there!
Other than that and the usual work days, we are switching Zain’s room over this week and I can’t wait. Trevor and I both have today off and are determined to get his wallpaper hung, bed put together and room transformed while he’s at school. Can we do it? Let’s hope!
I originally thought of doing it in phases but I figured it would be far more exciting for him to come home from school and see a whole new space since he’s been asking about his ‘big boy bed’ for weeks 🙂 I’ll try to share more about what we chose over on Instagram stories this week and will share everything in a post soon!
As for today, I am ecstatic about this skirt and sweater combo I stumbled across and shared a little try on session of it over on stories today. I have been dying over sets like this all season but never found one I loved the price point on. Till now 🙂 Both pieces are on sale and the set is well under $50! The material is light but not cheap and I love the colors. I plan on wearing the skirt for a while since stretchy skirts seem to be my thing this pregnancy and thought it might be helpful to show how I would style it for winter and spring since we are all a bit over the cold weather!
As far as sizing, the skirt runs big in my opinion. I am wearing an XS and normally order up to a medium in skirts. I did want it fitted over the bump but I would still size down! The sweater runs TTS and I am wearing a medium in that. I probably could have done a small but they didn’t have on in store and I like the slightly oversized fit.

Hope this helps for some inspiration and that you all have a wonderful Wednesday!
