well, it’s that time of year again & we all know i’ll be indulging! since it’s become so cold my workout game has really fallen off. i’ve found myself struggling to get to the gym & am trying to find ways to stick to my healthy eating and get motivated again. throughout the holiday’s i’m going to try to post helpful recipes & tips to stay active to help motivate myself & hopefully others! stay tuned for an exciting fitness feature in the next few weeks!
so here’s the easy steps to making this detox smoothie. it’s just a few simple ingredients that will get your daily dose of vitamins and leave you feeling full & rejuvenated. simply combine the ingredients in a blender. i use a super cheap and easy Cuisinart SmartPower Blender that works wonders! blend everything and i like to chill it with some ice cubes before drinking. if you are looking to add more protein to your diet feel free to add your favorite protein powder or dairy to thicken the shake!
2 handfuls Kale
1 apple (honeycrisp is in season!)
1 handful of berries
