Although it’s sad winter is still looming around I am thankful we had a burst of warmth this past weekend and that means spring is right around the corner, right? Wearing jeans and sweaters has quickly become a routine so I was excited to freshen up my winter wardrobe a bit with Zappos.

I have been in search of a parka with a faux fur hood for the longest time – not sure how I have lived in Chicago without one but I finally found one that is affordable and chic! I have been living in it since and let me tell you the sweater lining inside the sleeve is so good. I never realized how much that helps a girl out when the wind is knocking you over (that actually happened to me this weekend)!

I paired it with this new lighter fun wash of jeans that I finally tried. I had been scared to wear a bright wash that wasn’t white for a while now but when you are wearing denim everyday the same colors tend to get boring. This lighter wash seemed fun for warmer weather and the Levis’ fit my curves like a glove. I often get scared to try new brands of jeans because it’s such a specific fit but if you are curvy on the bottom these stretch jeans will make you so happy. They are high waisted, have a tiny rip and fit true to size for me.

Throw that on with a grey sweater (my favorite color) that has this pretty fair aisle pattern and then make the look pop with these heels. The dark grey goes with everything and they are surprisingly comfortable to wear!
