Happy Tuesday friends! Today’s post is one I’m really excited about. I spotted this top last year and debated buying it for weeks. By the time I finally made up my mind it was sold out and I was heartbroken! I was over the moon when I saw they brought it back again this season. The brand is one of my favorites for affordable seasonal fashion and I think it’s always well made. 

The top is not only the prettiest shade of yellow it has so many cool details like the ruffle on the sleeves and the tiny dots. Since we had a girls night planned, I thought it was the perfect time to throw it on and embrace the new fall season. 

We were headed downtown to Union Sushi and although I think I may have been there years ago when I first moved to Chicago this felt like my first time. They offer their sushi served with black rice which I had never seen or heard of. It’s apparently healthier than brown or white rice and has less sugar and carbohydrates. I decided to go for it and am happy to report that it’s delicious. I now wish more places carried it. 

Since I was embracing the whole fall season with my turtleneck I decided to combine a few pieces I think are crucial for the season. 

Jewel Tones

This color palette is everything for fall. I love bold yellows, deep greens and berry colors the most. They look great on silky tops, lace blouses, chunky sweaters and tops like this.

A Neutral Bag

This handbag isn’t new but it’s a staple I’ve been carrying forever. The brand is one I’ve raved about before and although it’s at a bit of a higher price point I can’t stress how amazing the construction and materials are. It will definitely stand the test of time and the suede looks amazing every season but especially fall!

Peep Toe Boots

My favorite shoe for fall! I just snagged this pair that is the perfect camel color and goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. Depending on what color your closet leans towards I reccomend picking a grey, camel or black pair!
