superbowl party hosting ideas

I’m so excited to share this easy game day party with you guys! It’s easy for an host to throw together but still feels so festive. As with any hosting gig I always recommend keeping your big dishes easy so you aren’t stressed that day and can enjoy your guests. Red Baron pizzas are the perfect way since pizza is such a perfect game day food and they are so easy to snag at Walmart!

We choose the Red Baron Deluxe Supreme Pizza so there would be a combo of meat and veggies on there everyone could enjoy and snagged this Mrs.Edwards Hershey’s Pie too (my nieces & nephew LOVE them) With the main dessert and dish set I was able to create a few fun sides people could munch on throughout the day.

The decor was simple but I loved it – The paper bags were used as chip holders. I simply cut the bags down in half and used white electrical tape to create the stitching. I did the same thing with our mason jars and added stripe straws for a fun feel! The banner on the front of the table pulls everything together and you can always use a pre made banner of letters or create one from scratch. I love the way burlap looks as well so you could always cut it into triangles and spell out ‘the big game’ on them to string across as well!

For appetizers & sides I started with these BLT bites which are perfect and a healthy alternative. I used turkey bacon and a yogurt based ranch dressing along with fat free feta and they tasted amazing. My family isn’t big into ‘healthy eating’ and they had no idea what ingredients I used and gobbled them up.

I also made this Mediterranean hummus dip that was to die for. You can use store bought hummus and just add the toppings or create your own in the food processor. I chopped up pita bread and toasted it to serve warm which is always a big hit! The cupcakes were so fun to decorate and are easy enough for anyone to help you out with. I just used funfetti cupcake mix and topped with dark chocolate icing! With white icing and a smaller tip I created the stitching pattern on top.

Lastly, You can have guests fill out their own card in when they enter! People can write down who they think will win plus the final score. Starting a pool for a reward for the winner makes guests who don’t even enjoy football get into the game! I included the PDF here and I printed 4 to a paper for note card size. Add some bright flowers, fun labels & color to the tablescape and you are all set! Let me know what fun DIY ideas you use!

  4. Everything about this party screams AWESOME, but my favorite part is that I can do this! I am not a super crafty person with tons of craft supplies just laying around, but this is totally doable for me and for that I say THANK YOU! #client
