Can you believe the first day of Spring has already come and gone? As much as the weather seems to not agree, spring has officially sprung and I am fully ready to get behind some new wardrobe essentials. The days of boots and sweaters have worn on me and I couldn’t be more excited to pull out my casual tee’s, boyfriend jeans and slides!

Especially with this third trimester of pregnancy, my go to outfit is always one of comfort and the days of heels have quickly come and gone. Although, I’m a tiny bit terrified my feet will grow and I won’t be able to wear my shoes after delivery I have been investing in some new pairs. They are the only things that are still fun to shop for and with spring arriving I am loving all the new loafers and slides.

This past week I headed out for a work date with Blair and we started off grabbing coffee and donuts at CC Ferns. You have probably heard me talk about this spot before but if not, it’s a must try. It’s quaint and serves fresh Doughnut Vault donuts each morning! If you’re like me and have never made it downtown to stand in line for those bad boys it was kind of magical when I found this out. We decided to work there all morning before grabbing lunch at Beatrix and then finishing our work day at Soho House. 

I knew we would be running around the city and it was the perfect time to bring out my new Sofft Somers slides. Black slides may be one of my most worn pairs of shoes and since the only pair I own are a black velvet, these were the perfect addition for spring. I loved the laser cutting and amazing arch support, my feet didn’t bother me all day which is a real feat now that they are supporting this belly. I threw on my go to boyfriend jeans, tank and long cardigan with them and was ready to go from morning to night with just a touch of lipstick.
