Before I get started on the new season and all it’s loveliness, have you guys checked out the new site?! I am so EXCITED! I could not be happier with the new format and how much easier it should be for you to use. Lindsay from White Oak Creative literally made all of my website dreams come true and I am so thrilled with the new features. Everything should be a bit easier to navigate – my outfits are now sorted by seasons and easy to search. I also have a brand new logo that fits my personality so well and so much more! Take a peek around the site and let me know what you think. I hope it makes your visits here more enjoyable and I can’t wait for you to explore!

The yellow leaves, crisp air and perfect weather are just a few of the reasons I can’t get enough of this season. Sadly, Chicago’s fall season doesn’t last a ton of time so we try to squeeze all of our fun activities in quickly. It’s already started to chill a bit, which I’m hoping is a blip in our beautiful weather.

Last weekend we decided to tackle one of our favorite fall traditions, stalking the suburbs after a fun visit with my nieces and nephew. Normally, I wear a pair of sneakers or flats to head over to my brothers but we were going out for date night after so I was excited to throw on a pair of leopard pumps and dress up this casual look.

I know I mentioned last week that I had picked up another camel trench coat and this is it! I liked the longer length on this one, it’s water resistance and it’s detachable hood. It’s already come in handy during this rainy season.

As far as other fun fall activities we love to do, these are a few of my favorites:

Go to an Apple Orchard: The only downside to this one is they are usually quite far away. Luckily, my nieces and nephew were super pumped to go and making it a family activity is way more fun.

Go For a Hike: This is the perfect season for hiking and I have heard Starved Rock is the prettiest this time of year. We are planning to go next weekend so if you have any tips of tricks, send them over!

Explore the Suburbs: If you live in a city, it’s sometimes so nice to get away and this is the perfect season to stalk some beautiful homes and their fun holiday decor. Since my brother now lives in the burbs, it makes it a little easier! We loving popping over to Winnetka and Hinsdale to see the homes – they are insane!

Cook chili, light a fire & burn some fall candles: This one is the easiest for me and has already been done so many times. Burning fall candles may be a favorite hobby of mine, this one is by far the best! I also love making chili for the first time – this turkey chili recipe is a fav in our house – don’t forget to throw on some hot sauce and start up the fireplace.

What do you guys love most about this season?
