Shop Your Closet: Fixed Waist Trousers Edition

Good morning from Sonoma!

I’m so sad today is our last day here but it’s been such an amazing few days with California Prunes and I can’t wait to share more about it soon. As for today’s post, I am thrilled to finally have it live. I have been meaning to share more about these work trousers for a few weeks and finally carved out some time to get some outfits filmed.

I am sharing everything over on Instagram stories this morning in case you want to take a closer look at fit or texture of any of the pieces and hope that this is helpful. As a huge fan of Everlane in general I was ecstatic when I saw these trousers released. I have a pair of their black denim I usually try to pull off as work wear but had not been sold on any of their slacks without waistbands. I for some reason need a waistband on my pants and these fit like a dream. I ordered my normal size and the fit and stretch is unreal. They basically feel like yoga pants for work.

I tried to put together 4 outfits that could work in most office settings and take you from a more casual day to a bit dressier. Also, all of the pieces are things I wear on the weekend routinely so it’s nice to invest in pieces that you can get use out of in multiple settings.

Let me know what you guys think and send over any questions you might have on fit!
