Can you believe we are already in the second week of August? Despite the insanely hot temps I have already stopped buying anything for spring and summer and am trying to find pieces that will work for now and translate into fall. This Free People lollipop dress is adorable and fun for summer with wedges and I can’t wait to wear it into fall with some over the knee boots and a cocoon coat. 

I can’t believe I am actually looking forward to fall but it may be my favorite season. I wish it lasted a bit longer in Chicago – I feel like we go from humid to frigid real quick. What pieces are you guys looking for this fall? I missed out on the suede moto jacket I wanted to grab from the Nordstrom sale and sadly they never restocked it so I’m still on the lookout.

I wore this out to lunch with mom and she was a pro at snapping these pics, no? I told her no pressure but she really seemed to get into it and I think she did an amazing job. I know I chatted about our weekend together last week but I am already missing having her around and our little ice cream dates.
