With fall around the corner it’s time to start thinking about transitioning your wardrobe. One new purchase I am so excited about wearing all season is my green bomber jacket! It’s so light and versatile for layering making it easy to wear into winter. Since the new season is quickly approaching I thought I would share a few ways you can get the pieces in your closet ready too.

Layer: Since it can still get warm it’s always a great idea to layer summer pieces with fall ones so you can feel like you have options. I opted to throw this bomber jacket over my summer stripe off the shoulder top. It keep your summer pieces in use for longer and allows you to not jump straight into sweaters!

Keep Your Skirts Alive: Short summer skirts are perfect for fall. Before you try to pack them away, think again! Pair a denim or suede mini with a jewel toned turtleneck or stripe top and over the knee boots for the perfect fall combo.

Mix Textures: Throwing different unexpected fabrics together is so pretty. You can pair those lightweight beach pants you wore all summer with a cardigan or sleeveless trench for a chic fall look.

Chunky footwear: Fall shoes may be my favorite. Before you head straight to boots or booties try transitioning with a fun pair of mules or a chunky heeled sandal.

Utilize Your Accessories: Adding a hat or light scarf to any outfit will add the illusion of a fall weather outfit and they can be easily taken off or on while you are out!
