Normally, I’m not a huge print girl but when I spotted this sweater a few weeks ago I knew I had to have it. A girl can never have too many ‘grandma sweaters’ as I like to refer them. It’s so easy to throw on a tank, tee or turtleneck underneath these and stay warm and look cute. Often, I’ll add a big chunky scarf and heeled booties to dress it up or a good pair of sneaks to dress it down.

These black stretchy jeans are my go to’s right now! They are still working this far into pregnancy and I have always loved the material so it’s a win win. I threw on these black booties from a few seasons ago but I linked a similar pair for you guys above.

I wore this a few weeks back for an epic day of relaxation. I’m not great at pampering myself, and am trying to do a better job at it these days. I never get my nails done, my hair cut or much else so when the Friday before New Year’s Eve rolled around and I found out I was off work I was determined to make it happen. My hair had gotten out of control long, so I stopped into Sine Qua Non salon in West Town and enjoyed a nice hot cup of tea while I got my hair trimmed and curled. I already felt like a new woman!

After that first pit stop I headed down to Cowshed at Soho House. They have an amazing spa menu (and a special maternity one if you’re looking!) and the most decadent space. I met Blair for facials and we enjoyed lounging in our robes before our service. I’ve only ever had one facial before and this one blew it out of the water! I absolutely loved my aesthetician and picked up some all natural beauty products on my way out too. They have an amazing avocado oil and shea butter stretch mark cream I’ve been using constantly.

After our facials we headed to lunch at Chicago Q and I was so un stressed I could have fallen asleep at the table. I got a quick workout in later in the day and was showered and in bed by 7:30pm that night. I can’t tell you how amazing my body felt and I seriously reccomend splurging on yourself every now and then. I realized I need to do that more often!

Hope you guys are having a great week!

Ha! I call these “Grandpa” sweaters and I love them for travel. This takes Grandma/Grandpa sweaters to another level though. This one is a winner.

Nothing compares to the comfort and coziness of a grandma sweater haha love how you paired it with all black pieces, such a cute look!
