Ah, these pictures are making me long for vacation again. I hope you are all having a wonderful week and thanks for all the feedback on yesterday’s post.  It was so interesting to hear from so many of you and everyone’s perspective and I’m still undecided but will keep you updated!

Today, we’re taking a tiny walk down memory lane to our phenomenal babymoon in Arizona. The second resort we stayed at, The Scott Resort and Spa was beautiful. The grounds were breathtaking and our dinner was my favorite meal of the trip. Sometimes, restaurants on site have a reputation of not being the most innovative or exciting but they had just hired a new chef and Trevor and I were both blown away by the creativity and the  taste!

Since we were dining at the resort I decided to keep it casual. Luckily, with Arizona heat it stays dry and the mornings and evenings were somewhat on the cooler side. This maternity midi dress has been my go to since it warmed up. It’s easy to throw on, stretches where I need it to and doesn’t make me look any bigger, huge plus! It’s made by Ingrid and Isabel and I must say they are my favorite maternity brand. Up until this point I have been in most of my pre pregnancy clothes. However, that is becoming tougher by the day and most of all I want to be comfortable. I live in their yoga pants, tanks and dresses and find them so easy to mix and match.

Since we were going to be dining outside on the patio I decided to throw on my denim button up over top and tie it above my belly. If you happen to be expecting, I love the way tees and tanks look tied over dresses. It also adds a little something fun to otherwise simple looks.

I threw on these new flats I got for the trip and just grabbed my beach bag that I could throw everything on. With slightly swollen feet, the desire to wear tight sandals with no support has been lost so these were a dream. They have a tiny wedge heel that helps support my feet and I can wear them all day with no problem.

After dinner, we were able to sit out front of the resort by the fire pits and enjoy an evening night cap. I can’t wait for it to consistently be warm again in Chicago so we can feel like we’re back in Phoenix and stay tuned for the full travel guide coming next week!
