last week trevor & i were so excited to check out the new AMK Restaurant in Bucktown. it had been raining off & on but the weather app showed clear skies for the next hour or so. we shot some photos really quick and as soon as we wrapped up its started POURING. dime size hail was coming down and we were underneath the overpass. we figured it would let up so we waited about 20 minutes and finally gave in and called a ride. by the time they arrived to grab us the rain stopped and we felt silly taking it up the block to the restaurant haha!

the restuarnt was delicious and we were excited to taste the menu before it’s opening. it’s now up and running full swing and i would definitely recommend the bacon & jalapeno pizza and watermelon & beet salad!

i wanted to keep it casual and a little warm since the weather has been fluctuating so much. i absolutely love this Anthropologie sleeveless sweater and can’t wait to wear it belted over jeans next. i tucked it in a bit since it’s so long to this olive green maxi skirt and added a few of my favorite Michelle Starbuck necklaces. i was happy i brought this J.Crew hat since my hair went crazy once the rain hit.

i think this outfit will probably be on heavy rotation all summer and y’all have to let me know if you try AMK!
