Anyone else have a hard time convincing their partner to invest in better skincare products? Ever since I became obsessed with my own skincare, I have become equally as interested in Trevor’s. Unfortunately, he could literally care less. Or so I thought…
I started to pick up things at the store I thought he may like and would slowly start leaving them in the shower or on the counter. I would mention products that were helping me subtly and watch him start to try them out. Flash forward a few months and while I still don’t have him using a night cream or face mask (working on that!) I have introduced him to some new products he and I both love!
Dove Men+Care Minerals + Sage Body Wash and the dry spray have become a favorite in our house and I totally recommend trying to sneak them onto your man’s countertop. Trevor’s skin was getting really dry during the winter and the body wash really helped moisturize, since he refuses to use lotion. I also love the way both products smell, so that’s an added bonus for me!
It helps that March Madness is right around the corner and what’s better than using the official grooming products of the NCAA®. We are huge University of Louisville fans around here and will be watching the tournament all month long. We have never been big NBA fans, everyone is too good and Kentucky doesn’t have a team so it was never that exciting. The state bleeds college basketball so it’s one of the best times of the year for us!
How do you guys sneak new products into your partner’s routine? I’m still trying to get him to use pore strips and face masks but no luck so far!

I was able to get Bill to use a facemask since it was clear! That was my trick haha! He didn’t like the colored ones because he felt too girly but since he couldn’t see it and he technically could leave it on as a moisturizer he felt okay with it.

This is a totally creative way to get your man to try new things. I gotta start doing that with my boyfriend – just leaving products in his bathroom or bedroom to just be like “what’s that? – I should try it!” haha!

Oh, my hubby actually likes my regular Dove body wash but I’m going to see if he wants to try this one;love the scent combination. I have managed to make him use a pore strip but have not been able to convince him of a face mask—yet! LOL
