The weather has been perfect for this light plaid winter coat & I couldn’t be happier about that. The holidays are such a hard time to stick to anything – healthy eating, to do lists, & the gym are probably the hardest for me. It gets dark so early and there seem to be a million dinner parties and travel plans leaving little room to chill. I’ve been trying a few tricks to tackle my to do list that I will share with you guys next week but for now let’s just rejoice in our counter productiveness.

I know I struggled with deciding to purchase these boots after lusting over them for two seasons. I have to say I am not the least bit disappointed. I wear them with almost everything from jeans to dresses and even skirts when it’s warm enough. The flat version is so comfortable and makes me want to get the heeled version too (I can not do that, right?)

I love mixing prints and stripes and plaid are always an easy choice. A striped tee is a closet staple and definitely a wardrobe builder – I am working on a capsule wardrobe download that will launch next year and you can bet this tee will be on there. It’s so versatile for every season and I love how it looked with this plaid coat and oversize scarf. Add a little holiday lip and you can wear this look over and over again.

Hope you guys are having a great week and if you want to see any other downloads in the new year let me know!

I am right there with you on the eating healthy and getting to the gym…it’s been SO hard and my body is not happy with me. However, it it’s supposed to be in the high 50s and low 60s this week so I’m hoping that will push me to get outside and walk around more than usual! Have a great week 🙂

On a more serious note, I completely agree about the “no downtime” thing. Is it crazy I’m already looking forward to January?!
