Not sure if you guys are into New Year’s or not but this jumpsuit is a killer wardrobe option. I’m sure we’ve discussed this before but Trevor and I aren’t really New Year’s people. As weird as it sounds, that’s why we decided to get married on New Year’s Eve. We figured the holiday is never that fun, always overpriced and kind of disappointing so at least we could throw a killer wedding and guarantee everyone a good time. I still wish we could throw our wedding over and over again it was so much fun (well, at least for me!) but alas no one wants to pay for that 😉
Since the holiday is now our wedding anniversary it’s the perfect excuse to stay in and enjoy dinner by ourselves. I usually try to pick a new cuisine we’ve never tried and attempt to cook it on our own (last year was pasta!) and spend the evening eating and most often falling asleep well before midnight.
This year will certainly be a little different. One, we have Zain boo to celebrate (but he goes to bed by 6:30pm) and two Trevor is working all day and on call that night 🙁 We will likely stay in and do something low key like watch a movie. Any good recipes you guys have come across lately? I was thinking some short ribs or filet but I’m not sold on anything just yet.
I know a lot of you said you aren’t into the skin tight sequin get up’s either so I thought I would round up some more everyday stuff I think would be cute if you are going out or have any winter weddings coming up. Although this jumpsuit is quite the statement piece, if you have somewhere to wear it—get it! I think it would be stunning for a winter wedding or cocktail party and the price can’t be beat. It runs a little large which is nice for a jumpsuit and I think ordering TTS would be perfect!
What do you guys have planned for the New Year?
