If there is one thing that makes working out tolerable – it’s music. I am the first to admit that my workout jams are not what I generally listen to in my car or home but more so stuff that get’s me pumped up (don’t judge) Slow & beautiful music is just not motivating for me on the treadmill.
As the new year rolls around I know ‘gym people’ will say they’re tired of all the traffic in there (trust me I used to be one of those people) but as someone who is trying to get back on track I’m fully excited about the energy I’m feeling and happy so many other people are doing it with me. Some of the best motivation besides music is cute workout gear. I used to wear the same old stuff and think it had no effect on my effort in class but I now think it does. I did an overhaul on my workout clothes over the holidays and have loved it. I shared a few of my favorites below and some of my favorite spots to shop for it are Gap and Old Navy!
